Following the sharp rise in gold prices, silver prices have also continued their upward trend. After increasing by ₹12,000 per kilogram yesterday, silver prices rose again today (January 13) by ₹5 per gram, reaching ₹292 per gram. This translates to an increase of ₹5,000 per kilogram, pushing the price to a new peak of ₹2,92,000 per kilogram.
Market analysts say that if this pace of increase continues, silver prices could soon touch a new all-time high of ₹300 per gram within the next one or two days.
The surge in precious metal prices is being driven by increased investor demand amid global trade tensions, changes in US taxation policies, and escalating geopolitical tensions related to the Iran conflict. The continuous rise in prices has once again raised concerns among housewives and the general public.
